About ESP:-

Ethiopian Society of Pathology (ESP) is an Ethiopian professional membership-based organization with charitable status legally registered in 2017. It is concerned with all matters relating to the science and practice of pathology in Ethiopia. It is a body of all its pathologist members which currently are more than one hundred.

Our society works hand in hand with all national and international stakeholders towards the advancement of the practice and training of pathology in Ethiopia.

 

Mission:-

Ethiopian Society of Pathology is dedicated to the advancement of Pathology in Ethiopia through educational exchanges, researches and collaborations with relevant stakeholders both nationally and internationally.

In order to achieve this mission, Ethiopian Society of Pathology will play the leadership role in mobilizing and uniting Ethiopian pathologists. The major activities towards this mission are:

• Engagement of its members to continuously improve the quality of pathology practice and education.
• Organization of meetings for exchange of scientific knowledge, ideas, and scientific practice.
• Promotion and publication of research in pathology and pathologic techniques and the subsequent dissemination of the results.
• Close Collaboration with all relevant stakeholders.

ESP additionally serves as the legal institution of Ethiopian pathologists that will stand for their rights.

Ethiopian Society of Pathology envisions to raise the standard of pathology in Ethiopia to the highest level of excellence.
